The mighty craft Diablo Rojo

This is the mighty craft Diablo Rojo the fiberglass replica of an original indian dugout cayuco. Today was my 4th practice, and the crew paddled for 35 minutes covering 3 miles for the first half of the workout, and 3 miles back for the second half.

The team is concentrating on synchronization, fitness, and the "switch" I have gained confidence in the stability of the craft. We are no longer doing wild compensations for the tipsy nature of the cayuco, as it has proven to be more stable than it "feels"

We had a beautiful paddle up Sykes Creek from Kiwanas Island to the 528 overpass, experiencing smooth waters, light winds, plenty of Florida sunshine, and many dolphin sightings. What a spectacular fitness endeavor.
