A day hike to the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge. 4 small hikes on a blustery day starting with the Boardwalk, the Oak and Pine Hammocks, and finishing in the Scrub Ridge. Our best viewing occurred at the Black Point Marsh over the mosquito control dike, a 14 mile drive with viewing points for wading birds, and the local lizard population.
